Here is a brief look at the New England girl’s indoor 55 meter performance list. It contains the top-11 all-time performances, along with the top-52 performers. New England state and class records are included. The list is punctuated by Kate Hall, the junior from Lake Region High in Naples, Maine. In late December Hall ran 7.01 to take hold of the Maine State record and set the New England junior class record. That mark makes her = #4 all-time performer and = #6 all-time performance. The 7.01 performance came in late December at the Rhode Island Indoor Classic at Providence. Hall’s time is the fastest run by a New England school girl since Stacey-Ann Smith of Bloomfield, CT ran 7.00 in 2006.
