Boys

1. Falmouth - rested their varsity runners this week

2. Scarborough: had 7 in the top 10 @ Sanford, won 19-56 over Cheverus

3. Hampden Academy won with 21 points - #7 Messalonskee ran but not at full strength

4. Massabesic- won by 30 at home over Deering

5. York - held off a challenge from Merriconeag Freeport 35-44-48

6. Gorham- won easily @ Marshwood

7. Messalonskee - didn't run the top 5, placed 5th in meet

7. Mt Blue: beat #9 Lewiston 31-48 at Leavitt

9. Lewiston: Lost to #7 Mt Blue

10. Freeport: was 3rd against #5 York & Merriconeag 35-44-48

11. Cape Elizabeth: 2nd against Greely, 31-34

12. Greely: won 31-34 over #11 Cape Elizabeth

Receiving Votes:

Westbrook -lost to #2 Scarbourgh & Cheverus

Cheverus - 2nd to #2 Scarborough beat Westbrook by 9

Merriconeag - Beat #10 Freeport, 9 behind #5 York

Caribou- won by 2 over Fort Kent

Windham- 19 points in win @ Noble

Bangor - was well back of Hampden finishing 2nd.

1. Cape - lost to #2 Greely & #5 Yarmouth 29-37-60

2. Greely - Won the showdown over #1 Cape & #5 Yarmputh 29-37-60

3. Falmouth - rested the top 5 this week

4. Massabesic - 8 point win over South Portland

5. Yarmouth - beat #1 Cape & was 8 back of #2 Greely

6. Scarborough - lost to #8 Westbrook 39-44

7. Orono - Beat #10 MDI again 28-44

8. Westbrook - Beat #6 Scarborough by 5 points

9. Hampden Academy - Cruised to a win w/26 points

10. MDI - 3nd to Orono 16 points back

11. Maranacook - won meet over Mt Blue

12. Brunswick- won by 17 over Waterville

South Portland - 8 points back of #4 Massabesic

George Stevens - 23 points in win @ home

Caribou- Won All Aroostook meet easily

Morse- 4th place in meet 39 back of Brunswick

Leggat-Barr & Kennedy victorious, Greely girls win showdown @ Twin Brook

In the highly anticipated matchup on the girls side between Greely, Cape & Yarmouth, the Rangers showed there Class B rivals who the team to beat is in 2014, while Katherine Leggat-Barr continued her impressive season with a 19:28 win. On the boys side Greely was the top team with a 3 point edge over Cape, individually Kyle Kennedy reamined undefeated on the season with a 16:50 effort.
