Orono’s Hannah Steelman has built upon her freshman campaign that saw her finish 6th in the Class C state meet. Steelman has been one of the top runners in the state for the month of October and she’ll be looking to keep that going into November. Hannah won the EM C regional last weekend in commanding fashion as she ran 19:23 the fastest time of the day. Her winning margin was 45 seconds. At FOC, Steelman let the rest of Maine now she was for real as she was the top Maine finisher with her runner-up finish and personal best of 19:03.65. Hannah has beaten the best in the east, now it’s time to take on the best from the west.
