NBON: Hall runs 11.37w for 3rd in the 100m

Kate Hall of Lake Region had the fastest qualifying time of 11.67 in the morning prelims putting her in the center of the track for the final. In the final with the track water logged after the skies opened up and with the rain still coming down, the senior ran even with the field, and crossed the line in third place with a new personal best of 11.37. She was just off the winning mark of 11.33. The mark lowered her 11.41 wind aided mark from the New England Championships.



Also competing on Day 2 was Yarmouth freshman Luke Laverdiere finished second in heat 1 of the boys freshman mile as he clocked 4:36.97 which was good for 11th fastest overall.


In the emerging elite shot put Curtis McLeod of MCI finished 16th with a toss of 51-4 1/2, while Orono sophomore Jake Koffman placed 33rd with a best of 45-7
