What are your goals for the upcoming season?
I would like to improve my times in the 800 and 1600 while staying injury-free.

What does a typical week look like for you training wise?
Monday is usually a regular run and core or weight room, Tuesday is a track workout, Wednesday is a run and weight room, Thursday is another track workout, Friday is an easy run, Saturday is a meet day, and Sunday is either a long run or a rest day.

What have you done to improve in the off-season?
After the New England Championships for xc, I took a week to rest and cross train instead of continuing to run. This definitely helped to prepare myself both mentally and physically for the indoor season.

What competitions are you most looking forward to this season?
I'm really looking forward to Dartmouth relays because it's a great opportunity to compete on a different track with athletes that I normally wouldn't race against. Also, the New Years relay meet is always fun and more laid-back.

What was one thing you learned last year that will help you the most this season?
Every race has to start with a positive attitude and belief that i can achieve my goal.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
I always eat a peanut butter, honey, and raisin sandwich about four hours before my race and listen to pump-up music.

What is your favorite food to eat the night before a meet?
It's pretty generic, but I like to have spaghetti and meatballs and some salad.

What is the best piece of advice anyone has given you?
You get out of running what you put into it, and hard work beats talent.
