With a time of 11.28, Imadhi Zagon (Portland) picks up his second victory of the day barely outleaning Bangor's Tyler Pembroke.

Abby Leonardi (Kennebunk) held off a quick start led by Bonny Eagle's Emily Durgin winning the girls 1600m in an All-Time State Record of 4:56.64

Luke Fontaine (Cony) runs his final quarter in 56.2 on his way to 4:24.73 finish for the state championship in the boys 1600m.

The Edward Little 4x100 girls would go on to finish in a record tying time of 50.41, edging Scarborough and Thornton Academy at the line.

The boys from Bangor would win the 4x100m relay in a time of 44.12, respectively.

Brunswick's Kristen Slotnick held off a strong challenge from Maria Curit (Biddeford) to win the 400m 57.67

 

Hannah Wiley (Thornton Academy) runs a strong race from start to finish, winning easily in a time of 45.63

Jamie Ruginski (Bonny Eagle) completes the sweep of the hurdle events, and picks up his third win of the day, with a win in the 300m hurdles with a time of 39.16

Pat Ciez (Windham) clears the bar on his way to a state championship jump of 6'5"

Freshman Abbey Leonardi took the 800m, with a fine last 200m, her time was one of the fastest in Class A history, 2:16.92

 

Edward Little's Jeremy Theriault used a huge kick in the last 120 meters to defeat a strong field in the 800m, his time was (1:58.36)

 

Senior Kristen Slotnick ends her state meet track career with another victory this time in the 200m 26.64

Portland's Imadhi Zagon races his way to hi third title of the day in the 200m, clocking 22.96

Freshman Emily Durgin dominated the 3200 from the gun, going through the first mile in 5:19, she just missed the Class A record, clocking 11:07.24

 

Cheverus sophmore Jack Terwilliger made a gutsy move just after the mile mark to gap the field, it was enough as he held on for the victory running 9:36.91
