How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I started running when I was nine or ten through Windham Rec. Hands down best decision of my life.
What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?
In all honesty, I stopped tracking my mileage. I run best when I just feel like running. Sometimes I'd run only 5-6 miles but other days I'd run 8-11. I did do one 14 mile run this summer, never again.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
A personal goal for me is to be the best I can be. As for my team I think a top state finish and New England qualification would be incredible.
What is your favorite workout?
I just like running, it doesn't really matter what we do, if it is running it's my favorite.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2018?
You're only as good as you think you are. If you don't believe in yourself it's not going to happen no matter how much your coaches and teammates believe in you.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
The 2017 Wilkinson Invitational really stands out to me. I struggled my sophomore year. I wasn't expecting to be good but I dropped 40 second 2 Mile PR. That was my turnaround point when I realized what i could actually do.
What do you love most about running?
How happy it makes me, every day is a perfect day to run.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
Running is my favorite thing to do by far. I do also enjoy reading and writing.
Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
My coach gave me a four leaf clover my freshman year. I have it laminated, I always toss it in my spike bag for good luck.

Snapchat or Instagram?
Neither really, I use Pinterest more than the other two combined.
What shoes do you race/train in?
Training I swap between Saucony ISO Freedom and the Kinvara 8. For racing I wear the Saucony Endorphin Racers.

What is your favorite food?
Any flavor of sherbet ice-cream.
