How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I began running in 2nd grade. I saw my cousin running and thought i looked fun. I was so naive....


What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?

I ran about 200 miles over the summer. I tried to cross train when I could as well.


What are your goals for the upcoming season?

I would like to place high in the state meet.


What is your favorite workout? 

Short repeats, e.g. 200's.


What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2018?

Every race yields different results. It doesn't matter how well you do in early invitationals, the race that really matters is the state championship.


What is your favorite course to run in Maine?

Gorham - it doesn't feel like a 5k.


Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

Winning Class B states as a team in 2016.


What do you love most about running?

The running community is full of great people. Competitors have more respect for each other because losses can't be blamed on others.


When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

Hiking and Biking.


Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?

I like to wear a special pair of black Saucony racing socks before important races.

What shoes do you race/train in?

I train in the Saucony Ride 9s and race in the Saucony Havocs.

The GOAT Tom Brady.
