Coach Dan Dors pictured above was a long time coach at Lake Region HS, he passed away in January and the school will be dedicating a trail in his name at today's WMC meet.
The dedication of the Dan Dors Trail will take place Friday, September 28th at 3:30PM. There will be a few speakers, the unveiling of a sign, and a ribbon cutting. The cross country races will follow at 4PM.
The trail, referred by Coach Dors and others as the jeep trail, connects the middle school and high school fields. Naming this trail after Coach Dors is symbolic as he spent many hours with the students, staff, and community of both schools.
Please join us on September 28th to honor Coach Dors and his legacy. He was a superb coach, a great man, and an outstanding person.
