Class A Girls Highlights

• 200 Meter Dash - Alexis Dickinson of Brunswick High School smoked a 26.50 to win with Sasha Letourneau of Lawrence High School in her shadow at 26.99. After that was Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School at 27.20 was 3rd, while Allison Hill of Brunswick High School (27.94) was 4th, in 5th was Amanda Knight of Messalonskee High School (28.28), In 6th was Lizzie O'neal of Mt. Ararat High School (28.33). Other state meet qualifiers were Bridget Horan of Brunswick High School (28.55), Ayumi Ranucci of Edward Little High School (28.57)

 

• Two Mile Run Katie Mcmahon of Brunswick High School hustled to a 11:51.04 win, followed by Kelly Lynch of Mt. Ararat High School in 12:26.75, iN 3rd was Lauren Mcnett of Mt. Ararat High School (12:47.93)

 

• 400 Meter Dash - Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School blazed a 1:00.94 for the win, next was Amanda Knight of Messalonskee High School (1:02.84), 3rd went to Cassandr Murano of Brunswick High School (1:03.31), Anna Turner of Brunswick High School (1:04.22)finished 4th, Sarah Judd of Brunswick High School (1:04.40) was 5th.

 

• 4x200 Meter Relay - Edward Little High School 1:49.72 won in a new state leading time,  Brunswick High School 1:50.83 was the runner-up

 

• 4x800 Meter Relay- Brunswick High School 10:39.36

 

 

• 55 Meter Hurdles Allison Hill of Brunswick High School hurdled to a 8.83 win, next was Avery Chisholm of Edward Little High School (9.39), Lizzie O'neal of Mt. Ararat High School (9.39), Katie Dudley of Lawrence High School (9.48), Jane Van Der Karr of Messalonskee High School (9.90). Hill had the top time out of the prelims (8.86), then Dudley (9.45), O'neal (9.51), Van Der Karr (9.83), Chisholm (9.86)

 

• 55 Meter Dash - Alexis Dickinson of Brunswick High School sprinted 7.32 for the victoryjust out-kicking the 7.43 by Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School. They were followed by Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School (7.53),  Sasha Letourneau of Lawrence High School (7.59) finished in 4th, Amanda Knight of Messalonskee High School (7.76) took 5th, While Avery Chisholm of Edward Little High School (7.82) took 6th. Also Ayumi Ranucci of Edward Little High School (7.95) met the state meet qualification.  Masters had the top time out of the prelims (7.45), followed by Dickinson (7.50)  Prescott (7.61), Letourneau (7.65),  Knight (7.75), Ranucci (7.91), Chisholm (7.93)

 

• 800 Meter Run- Great race for Anna Cowan of Brunswick High School who won in 2:30.14, next was Kelly Lynch of Mt. Ararat High School (2:31.06), Teresa Murphy of Brunswick High School (2:33.19) finished 3rd, Myrilla Hartkopf of Lawrence High School (2:35.55) ran well for 4th, While Jasmine Boyle of Brunswick High School (2:36.80) crossed in 5th, Alicia Eggleston of Mt. Ararat High School (2:38.37) finished 6th

• Long Jump - Hitting a big 15-9.75 jump, Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School wins, followed by: Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School (15-4.5), followed by: Lexi Clavet of Edward Little High School (15-4.5), In 4th was Allison Hill of Brunswick High School (15-0.75), Katie Dudley of Lawrence High School (14-11.5) placed 5th

 

• One Mile Run- Kelly Lynch of Mt. Ararat High School hustled to a 5:26.89 win with Teresa Murphy of Brunswick High School in tow at 5:28.05, Katie Mcmahon of Brunswick High School (5:37.16) finished 3rd, Anna Cowan of Brunswick High School (5:41.23) was good enough for 4th, placing 5th was Lauren Mcnett of Mt. Ararat High School (5:48.32) While Faith Shaw of Lewiston High School (5:49.24) rounded out the scorers. Jasmine Boyle of Brunswick High School (5:49.64) met the state qualifying mark as well

 

• Pole Vault- Lindsay Folsom of Cony High School got over 11-0 in her victory, followed by: Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School (10-6)

 

• Shot Put - Michele Richards of Brunswick High School launched it 29-11.5 to earn the top spot on the podium followed by: A Eschenbrenner of Messalonskee High School (29-7.5)

 

• Triple Jump - Lexi Clavet of Edward Little High School lept 33-9.75 to get first, followed by: Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School (33-3), Marissa Paquette of Lawrence High School (32-5.5) finished 3rd,

 

Class B Girls Highlights

• 200 Meter Dash  Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School drove to a 26.89 to win with Alliyah Veilleux of Winslow High School on her heels in 26.92, Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School (27.67) finished 3rd, Lydia Roy of Waterville High School (28.28) was 4th, while in 5th was Elizabeth Wallfield of Morse High School (28.55), rounding out the scorers was Anna LeClair of Waterville High School (28.90)

 

• Two Mile Run - Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School earned a 11:46.37 win, followed by Abby Hersom of Oceanside High School in 12:06.04, 3rd place went to Lara Bluhm of Waterville High School (12:20.33), While in 5th wasTiana Thomas of Waterville High School (12:34.27), 6th place went to Abbie Wessels of Belfast Area High School (12:50.57).   Other top marks were Naomi Holzhauer of Oceanside High School (12:59.64)

• 400 Meter Dash - Olivia Thurston of Waterville High School took it home in 59.74 followed by Alexa Frame of Waterville High School in 1:01.86, in 3rd was  Kellie Bolduc of Waterville High School (1:02.05), 4th place was Lydia Roy of Waterville High School (1:03.44), to complete the 1-2-3-4 sweep by the Panthers, In 5th Elizabeth Wallfield of Morse High School (1:05.31), Rounding out the scorers was Teiga Martin of Lincoln Academy (1:07.12)

 

• 4x200 Meter Relay  Waterville High School 1:51.61 dominated the competition

 

• 4x800 Meter Relay - Belfast Area High School 10:39.10 took the title with Oceanside High School 10:42.22 in 2nd

 

• 55 Meter Hurdles - Nailed it! Olivia Thurston of Waterville High School wins in 8.77 with Christine Parrilli of Winslow High School in her shadow at 8.83, In 3rd was Alexa Frame of Waterville High School (8.95), in 4th was Sarah Shoulta of Waterville High School (9.64),while in 5th was Phoebe Downer of Waterville High School (9.89), Hannah Fake of Lincoln Academy (10.01) finished 6th.  Parrilli had the top time out of the prelims (8.95) then Frame (8.96) then Thurston (8.98),  Shoulta (9.57), Downer (9.81),  Fake (10.02)

 

• 55 Meter Dash Alliyah Veilleux of Winslow High School smoked a 7.36 to win and next was Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School (7.41), In 3rd Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School (7.76), finishing 4th was Anna LeClair of Waterville High School (7.85), In 5th place was Anna LeClair of Waterville High School (7.85). Veilleux had the top time out of the prelims (7.48) then Bolduc (7.63), Berry (7.85), LeClair (7.94),

 

• 800 Meter Run - Bethanie Brown of Waterville High School got it done, winning in 2:17.33 to smash the KVAC league record with Kelsey Grass of Belfast Area High School running 2:23.26 for 2nd, In 3rd was Naomi Holzhauer of Oceanside High School (2:33.20),While Leonie Hankle of Waterville High School (2:34.72) finished in 4th, Mo Schassberger of Winslow High School (2:36.02) finished 5th, roudning out the scorers was Lara Bluhm of Waterville High School (2:36.95). Other state qualifying marks went to Emma Bonneville of Belfast Area High School (2:38.09)

 

• High Jump - Courtney Mailly of Waterville High School cleared a 5-0 to win, followed by: Hannah Sirios of Oceanside High School (4-10), Katie Smith of Winslow High School (4-10), Emily Lopez of Camden Hills Regional High School (4-8)

 

• Long Jump - Christine Parrilli of Winslow High School lept 15-8.5 to get first followed by: Katie Smith of Winslow High School (15-7.5), Olivia Thurston of Waterville High School (15-4.5) finished 3rd,  Jade Canak of Erskine Academy (15-3.5) finished 4th

• One Mile Run - Bethanie Brown of Waterville High School earned a 5:08.09 win breaking the league record, followed by Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School in 5:30.58, Abby Hersom of Oceanside High School (5:34.57) ran well for 3rd, in 4th was Tiana Thomas of Waterville High School (5:39.86), Mo Schassberger of Winslow High School (5:41.40) placed 5th,

 

• Pole Vault - Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School cleared a 8-6 to win, followed by: Gabby Bridger of Waterville High School (8-0), Sarah Shoulta of Waterville High School (8-0) finished 3rd

 

• Shot Put- Alliyah Veilleux of Winslow High School hurled a victorious 32-4, followed by: Hannah Sirios of Oceanside High School (30-6.5), Rachael Bergeron of Waterville High School (29-6.5) nabbed 3rd
   

 

• Triple Jump- Hitting a big 34-9.5 jump, Kellie Bolduc of Waterville High School wins, followed by: Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School (33-3.75), 3rd place went to Katie Smith of Winslow High School (32-6.75), Jade Canak of Erskine Academy (32-4) jumped to a 4th place finish, in 5th was Christine Parrilli of Winslow High School (32-0.25), Julie Ennoratti of Medomak Valley High School (31-0.75) rounded out the scoring in 6th , Gabby Bridger of Waterville High School (31-0.5) alos hit a state qualifying distance

• 200 Meter Dash  Impressive top speed helped McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat High School win in 23.15, trailed by Luke Dang of Cony High School and his 23.37, Alex Nichols of Brunswick High School (23.75), Will Hirnak of Mt. Ararat High School (24.21) notched a 4th place, in 5th place was Drew Olehowski of Lewiston High School (24.26), Roger Charest of Edward Little High School (24.92) rounded out the scorers. non scorers who meet the state meet standard were Jacob Weese of Skowhegan Area High School (24.92), Dakota White of Lawrence High School (25.01)

 

• Two Mile Run - Harlow Ladd of Messalonskee High School held strong for a winning time of 9:25.55, to improve on his state leader, finishing in 2nd was Benson Worthington of Brunswick High School in tow at 10:10.07, Mohammed Bare of Lewiston High School (10:17.32) finished 3rd, 4th place wen to Mohamed Awil of Lewiston High School (10:26.81), Ryan Tozier of Waterville High School (10:38.35), Wilder Nicholson of Brunswick High School (10:37.65)

 

• 400 Meter Dash - Alex Nichols of Brunswick High School smoked a 50.85 to win the mark was a new state leader, In 2nd was Will Hirnak of Mt. Ararat High School 52.01, finishing in 3rd was Roger Charest of Edward Little High School (53.69), while Drew Bois of Lawrence High School (54.42) nabbed 4th, Aswan Duncan of Edward Little High School (54.48) finished 5th,Rounding out the scorers was Colton Burne of Mt. Ararat High School (54.69). Non scorers who met the state qualifying standard were Dahir Muktar of Lewiston High School (54.79), Conner Monette of Brunswick High School (55.67)

 

• 4x200 Meter Relay - Edward Little High School 1:38.35

 

• 4x800 Meter Relay - Mt. Ararat High School 8:25.97clocked a new state leading performance while Brunswick High School 8:39.42was 2nd, Lewiston High School 8:43.19 finished 3rd

 

• 55 Meter Hurdles  Darnell Hairston of Edward Little High School sailed past the barries for a 8.46 win with Mason Travers of Lawrence High School in tow at 8.68, In 3rd was Zachary Sutherland of Messalonskee High School (8.92). Hairston had the top time out of the prelims (8.64)

 

• 55 Meter Dash Luke Dang of Cony High School sprinted 6.75 for the victory& upset win, with McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat High School in his shadow at 6.76. After that was Nasir Abdirahman of Lewiston High School at 6.90, Jacob Weese of Skowhegan Area High School (7.01) finished 4th, Drew Olehowski of Lewiston High School (7.10) crossed in 5th. Gary had the top time out of the prelims (6.77).followed by Dang (6.85), Abdirahman (6.94), Weese (7.01).

 

• 800 Meter Run - Mitchell Black of Brunswick High School earned a 2:02.63 win nipping Harlow Ladd of Messalonskee High School 2:02.76 at the line. Next was Seth Bryant of Mt. Ararat High School in 2:04.07, Ryan Smith of Mt. Ararat High School (2:05.13) was 4th, 5th place was Kevin Lavertu of Lewiston High School (2:07.34), rounding out the scorers was Nick Oram of Mt. Ararat High School (2:10.07). Also hitting the state qualifying mark was Nathan Bryant of Mt. Ararat High School (2:10.39)

 

• High Jump - Connor Harris of Edward Little High School got over 6-2 in his victory, followed by: Mason Travers of Lawrence High School (6-0), Darnell Hairston of Edward Little High School (5-8), Don Benbow of Brunswick High School (5-8)

 

• Long Jump - McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat High School lept 21-9 to get first & set a new state leader, followed by: Connor Harris of Edward Little High School (19-11.25), Mostafa Elfaham of Lewiston High School (19-2.75) was 3rd, Darnell Hairston of Edward Little High School (19-0.75) finished 4th

 

• One Mile Run - Harlow Ladd of Messalonskee High School ran a 4:26.31 that earned him the W with Mohammed Bare of Lewiston High School in tow at 4:38.42, Justin Tracy of Mt. Blue High School (4:39.18) was 3rd, Benson Worthington of Brunswick High School (4:42.78) ran well for 4th, Andy Reifman-packett of Mt. Ararat High School (4:47.03) finished 5th, Wilder Nicholson of Brunswick High School (4:47.20) crossed in 6th. Also meeting the state meet standard were Mohamed Awil of Lewiston High School (4:47.62) & Mohamed Mohamed of Lewiston High School (4:54.46)

 

• Shot Put- Rudy Pandora of Lewiston High School hurled a victorious 49-5.5 moved to Class A #2, followed by: Jacob Weese of Skowhegan Area High School (44-1) thre well for 2nd, Leo Gaghan of Lewiston High School (43-2) was 3rd, while Jeremy Frantz of Lawrence High School (41-6.5) finished 4th

 

• Triple Jump Connor Harris of Edward Little High School jumped a 45-5.25 in his win, which broke the league record & added to his state leading mark, followed by: Mitchell Black of Brunswick High School (42-4.5), Julian Hubbard of Cony High School (42-3.75) finished 3rd, while Bryan Ring of Edward Little High School (40-1.75) nabbed 4th, In 5th place was Zachary Sutherland of Messalonskee High School (39-10.5), Mostafa Elfaham of Lewiston High School (39-10.25) rounded ot the scorers in 6th

View and his 23.97, Danny Pham of Waterville High School (24.35) ran well fo 3rd, 4th place was Anthony Bellavia of Waterville High School (24.83), Jake Daly-o-donnell of Lincoln Academy (25.12) crossed in 5th,

 

• Two Mile Run  Great race for Ben Trapani of Camden Hills Regional High School who won in 10:30.20, trailed by Chirs Cote of Waterville High School and his 10:30.69, Nick Shuckrow of Winslow High School (10:38.11) crossed in 3rd

 

• 400 Meter Dash Impressive top speed helped Tyler Baker of Belfast Area High School win in 55.29, trailed by Zac Lee of Erskine Academy and his 55.67

 

• 55 Meter Hurdles - Zac Lee of Erskine Academy hurdled to a 8.42 win, followed by Curtis Griffin of Mt. View in 8.66 . They were followed by Devin Burgess of Waterville High School (8.75),

 

• 55 Meter Dash - Curtis Griffin of Mt. View sprinted 6.71 for the victory with Jacob Campbell of Belfast Area High School in his shadow at 6.74. In 3rd was Danny Pham of Waterville High School (6.97),  Tyler Baker of Belfast Area High School (7.06) crossed in 4th, In 5th place was Jake Daly-o-donnell of Lincoln Academy (7.10). Campbell had the top time out of the prelims (6.79), followed by Griffin (6.82), Baker (6.95), Pham (7.03)

 

• 800 Meter Run Cody Whitcomb of Gardiner High School got it done, winning in 2:08.03
