Maine Running Company Performances of the Week

 

 

Waterville distance standout Bethanie Brown added to her ever growing resume last week with a 10:33.16 3200m, the mark moves her to #2 AT in Maine history only behind the great Abbey Leonardi of Kennebunk. For her top mark in the 3200m which ranks her #1 in New England & 21st in the country Brown was selected by the fans as the girls performance of the week. On the boys side Gray New Gloucester sophomore Will Shafer opened his season with an impressive double winning both the 1600 (4:33.57) & 800 (2:01.7). Shafer who plays basketball in the winter was just off his all time best at 1600m, while smashing his previous best in the 800m.  Thanks to all that voted for the Maine Running Company Performance of the week, spread the word to your teammates so we can have even more partivipation next week.
