Boy's Pole Vault- Traip Academy's Ralph Humiston cleared 12-0 last week to nab the #1 seed, he'll be challenged by Cole Miller of Sacopee Valley who has cleared a best of 11-9 this winter

Girl's Triple Jump- The depth in this event is outstanding this winter. With Class B #2 Jocelyn Lorrey leading the way, the field also includes Kaley Swayer (35-2 1/2) who is class B #4. There are also 3 more entered who have jumped over 32-5 this season. Lorrey & Sawyer finished 1-2 last year.

Boys 200m- This race has a lot speed with Class B #1 Jacob Buhelt, Class B #2 Denzel Tomaszewski, & Class B #4 Josh Brooks. Buhelt has the top time of 23.35, but Tomaszewski and Brooks should push him to the line. The chance that the winner of the state title will be the winner of this race is high.

Girls mile- Defending champion Kirstin Sandreuter of greely will have her hands full with York's Heather Evans. Evans took the better of Sandreuter in the mile last week. Kirstin seed time is 5:26.98 while Evans is seeded at 5:29.14

Boys 400m- Class B leader & defedning champion Josh Brooks leds the field but look from a strong challenge from Freeport's Harrison Stivers, who clocked a fast 52.76 early on and has been working on his strength by running the mile & 800m ever since. Stivers should have the strength to challenge for the win. He is currently ranked Class B #3.
