Top 10 Girls National Performances of the Week (1/20-1/26)

Each week, MileSplit US will rank the top 10 best high school performances across the country for each gender. Below is our top 10 list of the best high school girls performances from this past week ending on January 26th.

 

#10 - Kate Hall (ME) breaks 3 conference meet records with national caliber performances in 55 (7.03), 200 (25.09), and long jump (19-5.50)

 

#9 - Sophomore Hannah Debalsi rolls to US #1 time of 10:26 in her Connecticut divisional meet.

 

#8 - Maddy Berkson (RI) puts range on display with a US leading 600 meter time of 1:32.96.

 

#7 - Lena Giger (IL) throws over 48 feet for second straight meet in the shot put.

 

#6 - Jacklyn Howell (NC) ties US leading time in 55 meter hurdles with 7.57 clocking at David Oliver meet.


 

#5 - New Rochelle (NY) girls are first relay nationally to dip under 1:40 this season in 4x200.

 

#4 - Caroline Alcorta's (VA) conference meet triple of a 2:14 4x800 split, US #1 4:52 1600, 10:39 3200.

 

#3 - Symone Darious (NY) clocks US #9 all-time in the 300 meter dash 38.07.

 

 #2 - Keturah Orji (NJ) leaps US #5 all-time 20'8.75" in the long jump.

 

#1 -  Mary Cain runs a 4:24.11 mile at Boston University to just miss World Junior record by .01 of a second.
