Reynolds PVC record in vault, Wortman(PV) Curts (2mile), Looker (mile), Tasker(hurdles) state leads

Bangor's Abby Reynolds broke Shelby Wheeler's 4 year old league record in the pole vault as she cleared 10-2 1/2. The mark was 1/2 of an inch better than the previous record, and improves Abby's state leading mark in the event. On the boys side Brewer senior Alec Wortman set a new state leading mark in the pole vault as he jumped 13-6.

Ellsworth distance aces Aleta Looker & Dan Curts did their thing again. Looker won the mile, and in the process lowered her state leading time to 5:08.60, she followed that up with a Class B lead and state #2 mark in the 400m 60.03. Curts ran the 2 mile in 9:28.71 which lowered his state leading mark by almost 6 seconds. It also ranks Dan as the 9th fastest in New England.

Brewer's Synclaire Tasker had a strong day at the track. The senior ran a state leading 8.74 in the 55m hurdles in the trials, and then won the final in 8.75. That was just the start to her outstanding day, Synclaire added a Class A leading 26.82 in the 200m. She then improved her Class A lead in the triple jump to a personal best 35-10 1/2.

Bangor's Peter Manuel ran class A  & state #3 in the winning the 400m, 51.76. While Tiffany Gray of Bangor jumped Class A #2, and state #3 in the triple jump 35-7
