PVC: CAR, FTK, OT, SRPT, GRN, NAR, WSBN @ Bangor

Bangor's Abby Reynolds cleared 9-6 in the pole vault to move to state #1 in the event. While Tia Jackson of Old Town won 3 events (100,200 & high jump) and teammate Ali King swept the throwing events with wins in the shot, discus & javelin.

Ethan Harris of Old Town threw state #2, 156-6 in the javelin as he took the win while teammate Nicolas Boutin sprinted his way to a win the 100m, 11.24 which is good for 4th fastest in the state.

PVC: CEN, HER, JB, MAT, WA @ Bucksport

Aleta Looker of Ellsworth showed off her speed with a win in the 400m & 200m. In the 400m her time of 61.59 was a state leading mark. Freshman Tia Tardy of Mattanawcook won the 800m & the long jump, her 16-2 3/4 jump is the third best in the state.

Distance standout Dan Curts of Ellsworth clocked wins the 800m & 3200m, his 800m time was 1:57.75 & 3200m time was 9:38.71 both efforts were state leaders.

PVC: Hampden, Sum, FF, Penq, GSA, BC, PI, MDI, Orono @ Brewer

Synclaire Tasker lowered her state leading 300m hurdle time to 47.34 then followed that up by equalling the state lead in the 200m with her 27.85. Reagan Nelson of Presque Isle moved to state #2 in the shot put with a 34-4 effort.

MDI'S Chapin McFarland took over the state lead with a heave of 48-1 1/2 as he cruised to victory.

Caleb Lord of Hampden Academy won the mile in the second fastest time in the state, 4:40:16, then doubled back with a win in the 2 mile. In the discus Jarid Leonard won a duel in the discus over Brewer's Adam Lufkin with Leonard threw 129-8 the second best throw in the state, while Lufkin threws 128-2, the third best in the state.

Waterville Relays

Edward Little girls ran the fastest time of 53.59 in the 4x100m relay. Rachel Bergeron of Waterville threw a state leading 38-0 in the shot put, and also 3rd best discus throw of 104-6. In the girls triple jump Kellie Bolduc was victorious with a 35-0 1/4 effort, that mark is the state best.

Belfast teammates Drew Nealey & Owen Falvey each jumped 6-0ft in the high jump, that clearance is the tops in the state.
