Tell us how your summer training is going?
My summer training is going well. The volume I was doing overall was much higher than I had done in a while, and it took a lot to finish certain days strong.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My goals for the season are that I want to compete with everyone else in Class B. I think that the state Class B race will be very close, and everyone will have to work hard if they want to perform well.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I started running my 6th grade year. The reason I did it was because I wasn't able to do Soccer my 6th grade year, so I did XC instead. After that, I stuck with it through the track season and up into high school as well.

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?

Other than hoping to go to New Englands, I don't have any plans to run other meets outside of Maine right now.

What is your favorite course to run in Maine?

My favorite course to run is Belfast, mostly because it is the home of Fest of Champs, a fantastic race to be apart of.

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?

One of the toughest courses in Maine for me is Twinbrook. The rolling hills all over just wears you down and then Pain Cave tries to finish you off.

What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?

The meets that lead up to championship meets are vital to do well at. But if I had to choose a single meet, I would say I would try my hardest at States more than any other.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career & favorite cross country memory?

My favorite memories are just hanging out with my friends at the meets. The cross country team is very small, so we feel more like a family than a team.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

My favorite thing to do while not running has to be listening to music.

Favorite quote?

Favorite quote - "Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else." - Margaret Mead

What shoes do you train in?

I will run in any shoes that are meant for running.

What shoes do you race in?

My spikes that I race in are New Balance LD5000 spikes. However, I used those for track, and I have to get another pair of spikes for XC season.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?

I have always admired Hicham El Guerrouj. If I were able to meet him, it would be a dream come true.

What is something that most people don't know about you?
ne thing that most people don't know about me is that I wish my hair were shorter but my hairdresser never listens to me.
