Ruginski goes big: D3 #1 Triple Jump 51-2 3/4
USM senior Jamie Ruginski continued his record breaking ways with an outstanding performance at the Maine State Collegiate Championship meet held at Colby College on Saturday. The three time D3 national champion in the triple jump (indoor 2014, outdoor 2014 & indoor 2015) popped off the best jump of his career with a meet, facility and school record leap of 51-2 3/4 in triple. The mark is the best in D3, and he is the only jumper to break the magical 50ft barrier. In fact he is the leader by 1' 7.5".
