Tell us how your summer training is going?
My summer training has been going great. In my opinion, it is very important to cross-train, so I have been doing a lot of different things including biking, hiking, and swimming. I am also part of a Nordic ski training program with Boulder Nordic Sports. We do a lot of roller skiing and strength. Summer training is fun, but I just can't wait for the XC season to start!

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
During the upcoming season, I would like to push both myself and my team to the best of our abilities.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?
Last fall was my first season running competitively. I always had a passion for running, but in the past I liked soccer more. I am glad that I made the switch to XC because I have so many funny, kind, and hardworking friends on the team that I love spending time with. I also love the feeling of accomplishment when I beat a personal best.

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?
Yes, my team will be racing in Manchester, New Hampshire during the weekend of the Festival of Champions.

What is your favorite course to run in Maine?

Twin Brook. Although It is a ery challenging course, I always seem to gravitate towards the hillier courses.

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?
Twin Brook is tough because it is hilly.

What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?

I put a lot of emphasis on the Festival of Champions race because it is a great opportunity to PR.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career & favorite cross country memory?
My favorite memory and race was 2014 Regionals. Our team did very well and I was very proud of everyone.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

My favorite thing to do is play cards with my friends
