Tell us how your summer training is going?

Summer training went pretty well, I came into the summer with a serious sprain from Outdoor New England's, so it's taken a while to get back into shape, but everyday is an opportunity.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My goal is to try to break 16 minutes and get the runners on my team to fullfil their goals.

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?

I hope to compete out of state at New England's.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career ?

My favorite XC race so far would probably be when I got my personal best pursuing Osman and Paul at Regionals last year.

Give an example of some of the "fun" stuff your team does together.

My team tries to stay connected throughout the summer, so runs through downtown Hollowell and Hobbitland, breakfasts after hill workouts and just getting together to run through sprinklers on hot days are really just fun things we do to stay connected.

What shoes do you race/train in?

I train in Newton's, Mizuno's, or the occasional new balance. My spikes this season are New Balance, but I miss my vintage bowerman Nike Zoom Victories tbh.

What is your favorite prerace meal?

Carb loading is always a must for a night before a race, but an actual pre-race meal? I love a good SuperButter and banana sandwich, or in the summer a nice banana and peanut butter ice cream (1 frozen banana, 1/4 of a cup of peanut butter, blended) in honor of Harambe

What was your favorite Olympic Moment in Rio?

My favorite race moments were either witnessing the new, incredibly fast 400m world record, or seeing Phelps and Bolt do their thing in their last Olympics.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?

If I could go back in time and meet Louise Zamparini that would be my dream. To speak to him it would be an honor.

What is the best advice ever given to you?

now that's a hard one. I would have to say the best advice I've ever had was when my parents told and taught me to Love God and trust in Him and through even the hardest circumstances...that has stuck with me.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

If I could go anywhere in the world it would have to be Europe. The history and ancient stories that have been uncovered are priceless. That or New Jersey, I hear that's a really nice place.
