What are your goals for the upcoming season?
This season my goals are to give it all I have. I want to leave my high school running career knowing that I gave it my all.

What have you done to improve in the off-season?
This off-season I have worked on regaining my health. I broke my clavicle during soccer and had to take 2.5 months off from running hard, so I am working on regaining my strength. I learned how to take better care of myself, both nutritionally and mentally, to better prepare for this season.

What does a typical week look like for you training wise?
Because of the crazy weather in Maine it is hard to predict what a training week would look like, but we typically have one hard day at USM and then cardio days, then of course meet days.

What competitions are you most looking forward to this season?
All of them because it is my final year.

What was one thing you learned last year that will help you the most this season?
I learned that it is okay to have a bad race, and you truly show how you are as a runner in the way that you react to those races. Losing can make you a winner.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
Other than taking my inhaler, not really! Probably freaking out and getting super nervous, but I don't know if that counts!

What is your favorite food to eat the night before a meet?
Honestly, I eat so much food I don't even know.

What is the best piece of advice anyone has given you?
"Just run"
