We caught up with some of the top runners from the Hoka SM XC Classic, check out what they had to say.

Martin Horne of Freeport took the boys freshman/sophomore race.


Freshman sensation Delaney Hesler of Bonny Eagle was 4th fastest overall.


Falmouth senior John Auer had high praise for his coaches and teammates.


Ami Beaumier of Bonny Eagle the Scots in the junior/season race finishing third, she helped her squad dominate the team race.


Matthew Todd of Greely placed 5th overall in the junior/season race to help Greely win the team title.


Lily Horne of Freeport put in a great effort to finish second in the junior/senior girls race.


Sub 16 for Greely senior Luke Marsanskis who says the Rangers are looking to race better at the end of year in 2018.



A huge breakthrough performance for defending Class C champion Olivia Reynolds of Maine Coast Waldorf.



Junior Ben Potter clocked a 16:01, says don't count out Falmouth the two time defending champions just yet.



Kennebunk sophomore Garrett Erickson-Harris lowered his personal best by over a minute en route to his 3rd place effort in the freshman/sophomore race.
