We took the top 200 shot put distances from 2018 & 2019 to figure out who was the most improved over the last year in the shot put. Below is the top 10 girls that showed the most improvement over the last year in the shot put.
Jozie Smith a junior from Oxford Hills went from 17-8 in 2018 up to 26-6 this spring, a massive improvement of 8-10. Also of note Jaigan Boudreau of Thornton Academy had success in 2018 throwing 3205 1/4, she ramped that up 5-11 1/2 inches this spring throwing a best of 38-4 3/4.

Ryan Worster of Maranacook has the largest improvement going from 40-8 1/2 all the way to 53-5 3/4, a massive improvement of 12-9 1/4. Worster won the Class C state title this spring.
