What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My primary goal is to win states as a team. As long as I'm healthy I also want to qualify for NXN again and finish All American.
What is your favorite workout that makes you feel most prepared for success? Probably the 3-4 hour long workout that Coach Fournier has our team do every Columbus Day before KVACs.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2019? Just to go out harder in races I guess.
Do you have a favorite course? I love our new home course at Highland Green and the Belfast course is also pretty fun.
What do you love most about running? I honestly just love going out the door and running, it makes me feel completely free, fulfilled and at peace with life because I know running is what I was born to do.
How is your team looking for the fall? I'm really excited about our team this year. We're returning all our top guys from last year, adding a stud transfer from soccer, and have a lot of underclassmen who've been working really hard over the summer.
Do you feel any extra pressure this fall after making NXN Nationals a year ago? What would it mean to make it back again? I guess there's pressure but I don't really mind it. It definitely would be amazing to qualify again because I had a blast there last year and want to continue competing on the national level.
What shoes will you train in and race in? I train in New Balance 880's and race in the New Balance XC Seven's.
Favorite subject in school? I guess math.
What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it? The last movie I saw was "Secret Obsession" on Netflix, I didn't really like it at all.
What is your Pet Peeve ?I don't really have a pet peeve
Lastly, if you were stranded on an island with three things what would they be? Hands down gotta be Odwalla protein shakes, Clif bars and my running shoes.
