Class A Boys
Lisandro Berry-Gaviria of Mt Ararat won his third straight KVAC conference title as he ran a course record of 16:18.50 at Cony, the mark took 15 seconds off his winning mark from a year ago. Brunswick senior Will Shaughnessy ran the first mile right with Berry-Gaviria in 4:58, he would go on to finish second in a strong 16:38.80. Sophomore Daniel McCarthy of Bangor ran in no man's land for most of the race but still clocked 16:45.20 for third. Grady Satterfield of Mt Ararat also broke 17 minutes with his 16:57.80 effort for fourth place.
Mt Ararat who came into the meet ranked #2 in the MileSplit50 Coaches Poll easily took care of #1 Brunswick as the Eagles tallied 37 points to finish 31 points ahead of the Dragons. Bangor was a close third with 70 points just two back of Brunswick.
Class B Boys
Pre-race favorite Jarrett Gulden of Lincoln Academy, MileSplit50 #8 won the individual title by 1 minute with his 17:12.6. Morse sophomore Finn Thelen was the runner-up in 18:12.6 while Josiah Martin of Lincoln Academy was third in 18:15.3.
Lincoln Academy ranked MileSplit50 #9 tallied 29 points to cruise to the team title. Morse was the runner-up with 52 points, while Erskine Academy 94 points finished third.
Class A Girls
MileSplit50 #9 Lydia Gilmore of Bangor was the only female runner to break 20 minutes as the senior ran 19:58.3 to win the individual title by 42 seconds. Brewer's Olivia Mosca a junior ran 20:40.5 to finish second while junior Erin McCarthy of Bangor was third with her 20:49.9 effort.
MileSplit50 #6 Camden Hills won the team title as the Windjammers scored 57 points as they packed four runners among the first 15 runners. Bangor was the runner-up with 83 points, while MileSplit50 #9 Mt Blue finished third with 102.
Class B Girls
Winslow's Olivia Tiner who came into the meet with the fifth fastest 5k time in the race prevailed with a 21:27.4 effort as she edged freshman Abby Williams of Waterville by four second, 21:31.6. Sophie O'Clair of Maranacook placed third with her 21:51.9.
In the team competition Medomak Valley pulled the upset with 53 points as they placed 4-5-6 led by senior Serena Blasius. Maranacook the pre-meet favorite was the runner-up just 5 points back as they competed without top runner Molly McGrail. Gardiner finished third with 95 points.

Large School Boys
Dylan Fowler of Hermon came in with the 5th fastest 5k performace in the conference but he didn't let that hold him back as the junior ran to a eight second victory at Searsport. Fowler's winning effort was 18:30.17. Pre-race favorite Ponce Saltysiak of MDI was the runner-up in 18:38.54, while his teammate Jon Genrich was a close third in 18:40.46.
Pre-race favorite Mount Desert Island took the team title with 34 points as they Trojans placed all 5 scoring runner sin the top 12 overall. Caribou was the runner-up 10 points back with 44, while Hermon was third with 64.
Small School Boys
Pre-race favorite Thorin Saucier of Orono ran to the individual title with his 18:29.20 effort which was the fastest time overall on the day. Saucier led a 1-2-3 finish for the Red Riots with Kyle McCellan 18:37.30 in second, and Tucker Ellis 19:01.84 was third.
As expected Orono won the team title with 35 points behind the 1-2-3 finish, George Stevens Academy put together a strong race to finish second with 46 points. Bucksport was a distant third with 102 points.
Large School Girls
Freshman Anna Jandreau of Presque Isle continued her excellence first year campaign as she claimed the large school individual title clocking 21:26.71. Jandreau's winning margin was 46 seconds. Another freshman Kayley Bell of Caribou was the runner-up with her 22:13.02 effort. Ellsworth senior Caitlin McPherson was third in 22:25.57.
As expected Mount Desert Island cruised to the team title with 30 points as they finished 35 points ahead of the runner-up Ellsworth as predicted in the virtual meet. Caribou finished third with 72 points.
Small School Girls
Freshman Thea Crowley of George Stevens Academy ran the fastest time on the day with her winning effort of 21:08.73, her winning margin was 30 seconds. Orono junior Erin Gerbi was the runner-up in 21:38, she led a 2-3-4 finish from the Red Riots. Nora White was third with her 22:38.73 effort.
Orono won the PVC small school title once again this time with an impressive 18 points. The Red Riots had six runners amongst the top 12 finishers. Houlton was the runner-up with 47 points.

As expected Will Perkins of Boothbay cruised to the conference individual title as he crossed the line in 17:27.50, 23 seconds ahead of the runner-up Aidan Laviolette of Lisbon. Freshman James Cognata was next across the line in third, his time was 17:56.50.
The virtual meet went according to plan as Boothbay/Wiscasset dominated to team race as they tallied 50 points to win, they were 29 points better than the runner-up Lisbon. Winthrop finished third with 105 points.
On the girls side there was a slight upset as Spruce Mountain senior Bailey Coates ran to a 14 second victory as she was the only one in the field to break 22 minutes with her 21:59.30. Coates finished 5th in the MVC Preview meet. Winthrop track standout Jillian Schmelzer finished as the runner-up in 22:13.70, she improved on her 6th place effort at the preview meet.
Winthrop behind Schmelzer's runner-up effort won the team title 41-43 over pre-race favorite Monmouth Academy. Boothbay/Wiscasset was third.
