North Bracket - Round 1

Daniel Guiliani #1 of South Portland won the Class A shot put titles three times. He was New England shot put title, and earned All-New England three times. Guiliani is the Maine shot put record holder at 71-1 1/2 which ranks 20th all-time in United States high school history.


Alex Nichols #8 of Brunswick won one Class A 400m state title. Nichols ranks #3 all-time in the 400m with a 48.58.

Evan Porter #4 of Traip Academy was an eight-time Class C state champion. He earned All-New England honors three times, and currently ranks #6 all-time in the 300m hurdles (38.41).


Mark McCauley #5 of Greely won 2 class b state titles. McCauley won the New England 800m title, and currently ranks #2 all-time at 800m (1:52.80)

Matt Brady #3 of Biddeford never won a state title, but he did win the New England title. Brady ranks #2 all-time in the shot put at 64-3 3/4


Jack Terwilliger #6 of Cheverus was a three-time Class A state champion. He ran a 4:14.88 mile, which converted ranks him #8 all-time in state history. He also ran legs on the #3 & #4 fastest 4x800 relay in history.

Jack Bouchard #2 of York won two class b state javelin titles. Bouchard was the New England champion in the javelin and earned All-New England honors twice. He is the current state record holder in the javelin with a personal-best 200-6.


Jake Leithiser #7 of Old Town was a two time Class B state champion. Leithiser ranks #7 all-time in the 300m Hurdles with a personal best of 38.73.
