Maine MileSplit Track Madness Final Four

With round 3 behind us we have limited the field down to the final four athletes in the Maine MileSplit Track Madness brackets to select the outdoor track and field athlete of the decade. We have the matchups set for round final four so take the time to check them out, and read a little about each athlete. Voting for the final four will start at noon on July 11th for the boys.

Dan Guiliani #1 vs Isaiah Harris #1


Daniel Guiliani #1 of South Portland won the Class A shot put titles three times. He was New England shot put title and earned All-New England three times. Guiliani is the Maine state shot put record holder at 71-1 1/2 which ranks 20th all-time in United States high school history.

Isaiah Harris #1 of Lewiston won six Class A state titles. Harris won two 800m new England titles and earned All-American honors. He is the state record holder at 800m (1:49.63) & 200m (21.82), he also ran legs on the 8th fastest 4x400m and 10th fastest 4x800 relays of all-time.


Jarett Flaker #2 vs Jake Dixon #3


Jarett Flaker #2 of Scarborough won three Class A state titles. Flaker won the New England title at 400m and earned All-New England honors twice. He currently holds the state records in the 100m (10.71), 400m (48.23), and ran a leg on the 4x100 (42.99). Additionally, he ranks #5 all-time in the 200m (22.12) and ran a leg on the sixth-fastest 4x400m relay in history.

Jake Dixon #3 Cheverus won two Class A state titles. Dixon ran a leg on the fastest 4x400m in state history. He currently ranks #2 all-time at 400m with a personal best 48.45, #6 all-time in the 200m (22.19), and ran a leg of the #2 4x100m in state history.
