Hampden Academy had a strong opener at Bangor finishing second to the Rams averaging 18:34.75

Freeport had a strong opening WMC meet even without top runner Henry Horne having a strong run. The Falcons averaged 18:49 for 5k, with Horne back at full strength they will be even better.
