Brunswick opened with a strong effort on their home course averaging 17:27. They have 5 guys within 1:28 led by Joey Valliere

Bangor looked strong in KVAC debut on home course led by Daniel McCarthy. They averaged 17:44, pack time needs to come down a bit from 2:42.

Cape opened the WMC season with a victory on home course. 18:06 average with a 2:05 pack time, Lindenau and Patry give them a strong 1-2

Portland won at Deering by 10 points over #5 Scarborough. Pack time of 59 seconds give the Bulldogs an edge.

Hampden Academy had a strong opener at Bangor finishing second to the Rams averaging 18:34.75

Freeport had a strong opening WMC meet even without top runner Henry Horne having a strong run. The Falcons averaged 18:49 for 5k, with Horne back at full strength they will be even better.

South Portland won over #2 Falmouth at Falmouth last week.

Scarborough was second to#4 Portland last week, the Red Storm have a strong 1-2 which will help them, need to improve the back end.

Messalonskee has a strong 1:05 pack time, the Eagles won at Maranacook in their KVAC opener.

Falmouth was second to South Portland in their SMAA opener, still haven't run at full strength.
