Maine HS Girls Cross-Country Team Rankings for Sept. 5

Ruth White and Orono debuted very strongly at the Ellsworth Invitational.

2022 Maine High School Girls Cross-Country Team Rankings for Week of September 5th

Our first rankings since the preseason saw plenty of movement from teams as they got on the trails for the first time this season. Bonny Eagle despite huge graduation losses has shown to be right back where they figured to be as the Scots have dominated action early on. Orono with a couple of freshman added to the mix and standout Ruth White look very good as they handled Class B defending champion MDI at the Ellsworth Invitational this past weekend. Falmouth looks good early on jumping from 13th up to 4th in the rankings. Portland also was up two spots to eighth this week.

There were five new teams that joined the top twenty five as South Portland, Morse, Medomak Valley and Lake Region.
