This Week's Nominees:
Isabella Harmon, Scarborough High School (Maine): Swept both her events at the HS-Cheverus-Gorham-Scarborough@Biddeford meet, clearing 5-6 in the high jump and clocking 16.12 in the 100m hurdles. She won the high jump by topping a field of three and took the hurdles against nine competitors.
Addison Elliott, Hampden Academy (Maine): Dominated the distance events at Old Town Meet #1, winning both the 800m in 2:19.45 and the 1600m in 5:10.07. In the 1600m, she defeated Maya Boyington, who ranks #2 in the state. The #1 junior in Maine in the 800m, she also ranks #3 among juniors in the 1600m.
Ava Syphers, Bangor High School (Maine): Won the discus at the Brewer Meet #1 with a throw of 113-9, topping a field of 37 competitors.
Grace Mayo, Skowhegan Area High School (Maine): Captured the long jump title at the Lawrence High School Home Track Meet with a leap of 17-1.5, winning among 23 competitors.
Maya Boyington, Orono High School (Maine): Finished second in the 1600m at Old Town Meet #1, running 5:16.78 in a field of 12.
