This Week's Nominees:
William Fagan, York High School (Maine): At the 11th Annual Husky Throwdown, won the shot put with a mark of 54-10.5 while placing seventh in the discus at 138-6. His shot put victory came in a competitive field of 121 throwers.
Jacob Feith, Winthrop High School (Maine): Threw 174-7 to win the javelin at the 11th Annual Husky Throwdown, topping a field of 115 competitors.
ATTICUS MERRIAM , Scarborough High School (Maine): Clocked 1:57.64 to win the 800 meters at the HS-FALMOUTH-GORHAM-SCARBOROUGH@MASSABESIC meet, the #1 junior in Maine in the event.
Nsungui Mankatu, Lewiston High School (Maine): Posted a double victory in the jumps at Mt. Blue Meet #1, clearing 45-6 in the triple jump and 20-7 in the long jump. Won both events against fields of 14 and 22 athletes respectively.
Ali Carter, Falmouth High School (Maine): Ran 11.00 to capture the 100 meters at HS-FALMOUTH-GORHAM-SCARBOROUGH@MASSABESIC, defeating a field of 39 sprinters.
