Depending on how this race plays out if the pack decides to go after a fast time rather than make it a kickers race the meet record of 4:10.31 which was set back in 2001 by Gloucester, MA Tristan Colangelo. RI State 1500m champion Robert Allen is coming off a personal  best 3:51.17 win where he set the RI State record, Allen has great credentials under his belt including the Mile title indoors. Allen was pushed to the line by Mike Marsella who clocked 3:54.04 his converted tim is good for 4:09.65, which is also under the meet record. Dont sleep on NH MOC winner Jeff Lacoste who ran 4:15.67, or Maine Class A Champion Jack Terwiliger (Cheverus) who placed 9th in the event last spring after running the 4x800 first, Terwilliger will be fresh this time & should challenge for the win. A sleeper in the field could be indoor 1k champion & CT State Open winner Alex Levine (Danbury)
