We combined 1600m and 3200m times from this past outdoor season among all girls' returnees for the upcoming cross-country season in Maine. It should be noted that this list contains only athletes who ran both the 1600 m & 3200m during the 2026 outdoor track season. This list comprises Class A, B, and C athletes and doesn't guarantee that the athlete will run cross-country in the fall.
Falmouth senior Georgia Moon is the only returner with a sub-16-minute total. Moon has the fastest return 3200m time on the track and the second-best 1600m time, for a total of 15:38.74. 2025 Class A XC champion Nora Schmidt of Portland ranks second in 16:09.63. Karen Higgins of Lincoln Academy leads Class B XC returners with her 16:22.40 while Paige Alexander of Waynflete leads all Class C returners with her 16:14.47.
