Masters adds two state leaders in 200m (27.07) & pole vault (10-6), Veilleux sprints to 7.50 (55m) & Gary drops a 23.58 for 200m
There were 4 new state leaders at Bowdoin College today during the KVAC regular season week #2 meets. Leading the way was Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little who nothced two new state bests, first with her 10-6 clearance in the pole vault, 7 again with her 27.07 clocking for the one lap 200m, also in the girls meet Winslow sprinter Alliyah Veilleux lowered the state leader in the 55m to 7.50. On the boys side McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat took over the state lead in the 200m with his 23.58 effort.

- 200 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School win in 27.07 a new state leader, followed by Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School in 27.69, Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School (28.13), Lizzie O'neal of Mt. Ararat High School (28.88)
- Two Mile Run - Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School held strong for a winning time of 11:49.09, followed by Lauren Mcnett of Mt. Ararat High School in 12:31.69, Molly Schassberger of Winslow High School (12:37.86), Jenny Fogg of Mt. Ararat High School (12:57.27)
- 400 Meter Dash - Alliyah Veilleux of Winslow High School took it home in 1:06.16
- 55 Meter Hurdles - Nailed it! Lizzie O'neal of Mt. Ararat High School wins in 9.74 with Christine Parrilli of Winslow High School in her shadow at 9.76

- 800 Meter Run - Kelly Lynch of Mt. Ararat High School held strong for a winning time of 2:32.22, followed by Kelsey Grass of Belfast Area High School in 2:34.57, Abby Hersom of Oceanside High School (2:37.30)
- High Jump - Katie Smith of Winslow High School got over 4-8 in her victory, followed by: Allison Ward of Oceanside High School (4-8)
- Long Jump - Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School jumped a 15-3.75 in her win, followed by: Katie Smith of Winslow High School (15-1.5), Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School (15-0.5)
- One Mile Run - Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School held strong for a winning time of 5:31.05, trailed by Abby Hersom of Oceanside High School and her 5:37.93, Jenny Fogg of Mt. Ararat High School (5:57.99)
- Pole Vault - Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School cleared a 10-6 to win, a new state leader
- Shot Put - Alliyah Veilleux of Winslow High School launched it 31-0.5 to earn the top spot on the podium
- Triple Jump - Lexi Clavet of Edward Little High School jumped a 32-9 in her win

- 55 Meter Hurdles - Curtis Griffin of Mt. View sailed past the barries for a 8.66 win with Darnell Hairston of Edward Little High School in tow at 8.71
