The Falmouth Yacthsmen girls return a strong squad in 2012 that was the Western Maine Regional runner-up a year ago. Falmouth has several top runners back including top 2011 state meet finisher Madeline Roberts who placed 29th. If the Yachstmen can stay healthy something that plagued them last year they should be one of the top teams in Western Maine once again.
The last top 3 finish at states was 5 years for Falmouth. Coach Kurry & Paul think if the team can peak at the right time a top 3 finish at the state meet is possible. For that to happen they will need seniors Abby Payson, Molly Ryan & Hayley Simmons to show leadership throughout the season & use their experience in big meets.

The girls would like to repeat their strong finish at the Festival of Champions and race well at the state meet. A top-3 finish is possible if they run to their ability.
