Folsom soars to 11-4, Barre drops 2 Mile state leader

Lindsay Folsom of Cony soared to a personal best 11-4 in the pole vault to up her state leading mark. The vault has Folsom currently ranked 10th in the country.

 

Alex Nichols of Brunswick continued his impressive running with wins in the 400m (51.99) & 200m (23.31), while Hassan Mohamed of Lewiston set a state leading 6.75 in the 55m, and then teammate Mohamed Barre added a state leading 10:02 in the 2 Mile

Lewiston clocked the #2 4x800 in the state with a 8:41.43, and Brunswick's Jamie Ross had wins in the Mile & 800m

KVAC: Mt Ararat, Erskine, EL, Skow, Gard, Mt View


Levi Clavet of  Edward Little won both the long & triple jumps, while teammate Avery Chisholm won the 55m hurdles in a quick 9.38.

Leading the boys was Will Hrinak of Mt Ararat who won the 800 & 200 races, in the 800m his 2:01.39 moves him to #2 in the state. Lucas Bourget ran 10:10 in the 2 mile, the time is the #2 time in the state. Also EL'S Connor Harris won 3 jumps, High, Long & Triple. Harris's jumped a Class A leader in the triple 41-1 3/4, and equalled the #1 high jump in the state with a 6-2 clearance
