Dixon breaks Jr 200m record, Scarborough Boys & South Portland Girls win

The first meet of the new year saw some fine performances this evening as the SMAA got the 2013 meet calendar underway. Jake Dixon of Cheverus shattered the Jr. 200m record with a blazing fast 23.85, to take over .54 off the old record. Other top performances came from Robby Hall in the mile (4:33.06), Meredith Willard in the Sr 55m (7.65), Alec James (13-0) in the pole vault, & Nyajock Pan 1:33.80 in the 600yd.
