Jackson sets All-time Maine best in the 400m 57.85, MacLean breaks 55m hurdle record 8.54

Teal Jackson of Brewer set the all-time Maine record in the girls 400m with a blazing 57.85. The mark surpassed the 58.26 of Danielle Hutchins set in 2009. Grace MacLean of Bangor broke her own 55m hurdle record clocking 8.54. Her old mark set in 2012 was 8.70. MacLean added win in the high jump (5-2) & 16-11 in the long jump. Tia Jackson of Old Town won 3 events taking the 55m (7.60), 26.90 in the 200m & 33-8 1/2 in the triple jump.

Peter Manuel of Bangor won the 200m (23.69) & the 400m (53.17). Jonathan Stanhope of Bangor added wins in the mile 4:31.26 (Class A #2), & the 800m 2:03.72. Brewer's Jeremy Bissell won the triple jump (40-0) & the added a huge personal best in the long jump 20-7 3/4 (Class A #3). Orono's Tyler White broke 10 minutes in the 2 mile with a blistering last lap (9:59.97)

Aleta Looker of Ellsworth won the mile (5:19) & the 800m (2:23.28), the mile in a Class B #2 mark.

Dan Curts of Ellsworth ran a state leading time in the 800m, 1:59.09. Donald Boyer of Foxcroft lowered his state leading time in the hurdles with a quick 7.90 clocking. Christian Duncan of Sumner took the high jump (5-8) & the long jump 19-7 3/4.  Trevor Alley of MDI improved on his Class B leading shot put with a new personal best of 48-8 3/4
