Even though I have a tendency to weigh distance event results heavily, I find it interesting that people are rating the current boy performances on the distance side higher than some other events which are quite impressive (ex: SP, 300H, etc).

Not to mention that's a ridiculous double for a sophomore, especially so early in the season. And if that meet was as windy as some of the others that day, then it's all the more impressive. But I'll admit I'm biased towards distance runners for the most part, mostly because I have no concept of how fast a 39.84 300 hurdles time is compared to a 4:33/2:01 double.

@nofinishingkick You'd be surprised how many people have a username, not just distance runners.

The conditions that night were brutal, temperatures in the low 40s, and a crazy wind off the ocean in Wells. I might be biased, but they were both great races with fabulous finishes.

Foshay's 800 was solid, but Rasche of York was faster this week (1:59.2). Reid of York had a solid quadruple (15.8, 40.3, 40'2, and 18'11).

Corinn Bedell!!!!! Straight up tying the all time best. An old record. I thought this record would have been broken many other times. A feat.
