There were plenty of fast times at the Cony "Under the Lights" meet Friday night. In the boys race walk Matt Forgues (Boothbay) cranked out a new state leading 6:49.83, his top competition in Class C Evan Vincent (Maranacook) also was under 7 (6:58.01). In the Boys 4x100 Cony got the stick around the track in a state leading 44.61 (Anchor leg Corey Clarke pictured left-phot by Dave Flewelling). Rick Orio a member of the 4x100, had a fine night as he regained the state lead in the 300m hurdles 40.63. In the girls1600m Abby Mace, clocked a new Class C leader 5:10.44, #3 time statewide. In the boys 1600m Cony's Luke Fontaine clocked the #2 time statewide 4:20.95, in the same race Sam Seekins (Erskine) ran 4:23.04, the #2 time in Class B. Seekins would come back in the 3200m to nab the top time in Class B 9:39.76 and avenge his loss to Fontaine in the 1600m. RESULTS | PHOTOS
