Twin Brook is back

Twin Brook is back

It was thought that arguably the best xc course in the state was not going to be used for MPA Regional & State meet after last year, however after the MPA meeting today it is back in a regional site and possibly a state meet site in 2015 .During the MPA's meeting this morning it was decided that Twin Brook was still a viable option to host one major championship a year. Twin Brook will be the site of the Western Maine Regional in 2014, and then possibly host the state meet in 2015, but that decision hasn't been decided as of yet.  It was decided that due to cost to rent the facility that the Twin Brook site won't host two major championships in the same year.

Other news from the meeting was starting (fall 2015) there will be a $50 fee per school to offset regional/state meet costs. This can be thought of as being in lieu of charging admission to spectators as they do in most sports. This will be one charge per school for any runners competing in post-season MPA meets. So, if you have one to fourteen (boys and girls combined) runners racing at regionals, the cost remains the same.

In the meantime the Pain cave sign is still missing, we need this thing back....
