Ellsworth senior Haley Lawrence won the EM B Regional last weekend over a strong field. Lawrence covered the 5k layout at Belfast in 19:51.28 to easily dispatch the rest of the field. Belfast has been kind to Haley this fall, earlier at the Festival of Champions she placed 9th in the seeded race, and was the top Class B runner in a personal best 19:26.29. A year ago she finished 15th in the state meet.
