Eastern Maine Regional champion Matt Touissant will be aiming to improve on his state runner-up performance from last fall on Saturday. Toussaint who ran 16:50.92 to win last weekend's race at Belfast in less than ideal conditions, looks ready to challenge for the win. Toussaint only Class C loss came at FOC where he placed 33rd overall and was the 5th fastest Class C runner. If last Saturday was an indication he's much fitter now, running 9 seconds faster than FOC despite the conditions, and beating the 2 EM C runners that finihsed ahead of him. One thing is left for the senior, a state title.
