Oak Hill senior Drew Gamage is the top seed in the high jump & triple jump

The last 9 years the MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship has gone back to Lisbon, and the Greyhounds are the favorites to make it a sweep for the tenth time.

The Greyhounds have been the gold standard in the MVC over the last decade, winning the last nine team titles on both the boys & girls team titles.

On the boys side Lisbon is led by the top seed in the 110m & 300m hurdles, Charles Adams. Adams will also run legs on the 4x100 & 4x400. Henry Adams is another key cog in the Greyhound machine, he'll run the sprints where he's the #2 seed in the 400m, & 5th seed in the 200m, he is also the #2 seed in long jump

Distance runner Nicolas Harriman is expected to score his share of points as he is the top 1600m seed, and #2 seed in the 3200. Teammate Jordan Cole is the top seed in the 3200m.

In the throws Andrew Golino is the top seed in the shot put & discus for Lisbon. While Jeff Wiley is the favorite to win the 1660m racewalk with a seed time almost 45 seconds faster than the #2 seed.

Oak Hill's Drew Gamage will be one to watch in the jumps. Gamage is the top seed in the triple jump (46-7) & the high jump (6-4). In the triple jump his 46-7 is 6ft further than the #2 seed, and the 3rd best jump outdoor in state history.

Another standout to watch is Kyle Farrar of Mountain Valley who is the top seed in three individual events, the long jump (20-8),the 100m (11.67) & 200m 23.84.

Boothbay's Morgan Crocker is the top seed in 3 individual events.


For the Lisbon girls they figure to have a closer meet than the boys but still remain the favorite.

Leading the way for the Greyhounds is Chase Collier, the top seed in the 100m by .01, and also top seed in the 300m hurdles. She is also the #2 seed in the long jump & 100m hurdles. Bree Sautter will be counted on for big points as well, she's the top seed in both the 400m & 800m, which is one of the toughest double to pull off.

Also seeded to finish first is Mia Durgin in the pole vault, the only vaulter in the field to jump 8-0 this spring. Emma Houle is seeded first on the 200m as well for Lisbon.

Boothbay's Morgan Crocker will be one to watch on the track, Crocker is the top seed in the 100m hurdles (17.08), the long jump (16-5) & triple jump (34-0), plus 4th fastest at 300m hurdles.

The Carrabec duo of Emma Pluntke & Shenciaray Black are the top seeds in the shot & discus, with Pluntke leading the shot (33-2) & Black tops in the discus (103-8).
