What was your most memorable meet and why? Cullman Invitational, sophomore year. First time I actually won a hurdle race, became the turning point in my career.
Where did you face your biggest competition? New Balance Nationals.
Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why? Breaking a 21 year old 5A 110H record.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career? Only having an asphalt track, so hard to get race pace on asphalt. Also losing my head coach.
What will you miss the most? The laid back feel of high school meets.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes? START EARLY.
What are your post-highschool or college plans? South Alabama track and field.
Who would you like to say thank you to? AJ Lamar, without him, I wouldn't be where I am today. Best coach, motivator, and mentor hands down.
