How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I've been running since i was about 7 years old. My whole family (all 8 of my siblings and both my parents) run or have run at some point. They got me interested and i've loved it ever since.
What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?
I've been running 5-6 times a week for about 25-35 miles a week. I've done some threshold, intervals, and hill workouts bu not a lot. I've been struggling with some health issues so I haven't done as much as I would like.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goals would be to make it to New England's and to break 20 minutes on Twin Brook.
What is your favorite workout?
Hill repeats on the Massabesic home course.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2018?
I learned that I can run faster than I think I can.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
I really like Twin Brook.
Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
Probably placing 10th at the state meet last year.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
I really enjoy singing, and playing the piano.
Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
My team has a caterpillar stuffed animal named "Legs" that we all touch before our races to remind us to work together as a team because all of our legs need to be working toward the same goal.

What shoes do you race/train in?
I'm currently training in New Balance Fuel Cells and I race in Brooks spikes.

Adam Thielen (Vikings wide receiver)
