How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I've been running for 5 years now, and I started running in 6th grade when I tried out for a summer track program and really liked it.
What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?
My summer training has been a lot of base, and endurance training. I've been putting in about 40 to 50 miles a week.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goal for this season is to be one of the best runners in the state.
What is your favorite workout?
Mile tempo runs.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2018?
The sophomore slump is a real thing.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
My favorite course is at Belfast.
Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
Out of all my running accomplishments laying it out on the line for my teammates and running alongside them in the championship events stands out the most.
What do you love most about running?
The thing I love most about running is that there is no time outs, no substitutes, or breaks, just you against the clock.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
Play with my dogs.
Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?

I train in Asics and I race in New Balance.
