Conference championships around the state highlighted the weekend in Maine XC. We had several of the top teams in the state battle it out at the KVAC Championships, while some of the top runners rested for the WMC Championships. A course record went down in the PVC and there were dominant team finishes in the MVC. Let's take a look at the highlights.

KVAC Girls XC Championship, Camden Hills & Maranacook Team Titles, Iltis & Tiner Individual Champs Benet Pols Oct 15, 2017

In Class A, Camden Hills takes the team title over Mt. Ararat with a 15 point margin. But in Class B Maranacook wins handily. Individual titles go to Garace Iltis of Camden and Olivia Tiner of Winslow.

KVAC Championship, Boys, Class A & B Benet Pols Oct 14, 2017

Hampden, led by Wyatt Lord, gets by Bangor in the KVAC Boys Class A Championship. Mt. Ararat is third,  but the Eagle's Lisandro Berry-Gaviria takes the individual title.

In Class B, Lincoln Academy ran away with the title led by individual champion Sam Russ.
