Updated WMC Records | Race Videos (Milesplit Insider needed) | Interview with Kate Hall

Gray New Gloucester senior Will Shafer is a newcomer to indoor track but has shown the indoor oval is no challenge for him. Shafer who has the top times in the state in the 800 & mile this season, lowered his indoor personal best in the mile to 4:19.5 tonight, the mark broke former Greely star Mark McCauley's league record of 4:20.92 from 2010.

On the girls side Kate Hall started her night lowering her Sr 55m record from 7.12 to 7.03. The 7.03 is just off her lifetime of 7.01 from an out of state meet, She also added a record breaking leap in the long jump as she jumped 19-5 1/2 on the outside long jump pit which doesn't even have a board but just a painted line. According to Hall she was behind the board all night but know the 20ft jump is coming in the near future. She completed her night lowering her Sr 200m record from 25.17 down to 25.09, that effort is her fastest non banked track effort.

Greely senior Kirstin Sandreuter set a state leading 11:11.89 in the 2 mile as she pushed right from the gun, her previous seasonal best was a 11:31.75 effort at the Dartmouth Relays. The time also broke her own conference record by almost 4 seconds.
