We looked at the returning athletes in Class B and used an athlete's best performance from the 2023-24 season. Using state meet scoring, we scored 8 places and limited athletes to their three best events. The relays weren't factored into the team scores, nor were athletes who might not be competing in the 2024-25 season.
Freeport enters the 2024-25 season as the team favorites for the girl's Class B team title. Bucksport and Orono from the PVC-EMITL are in the mix. Bucksport was third a year ago and will look for a podium finish this season. Don't count out Greely and Old Town who are powered by standouts Victoria Zandan and Lucy Veilleux respectively. York is the defending champion.
