When and how did you get into track and field?

I started running in 6th grade.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Emma Burr from MCI.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

My 400m state title.

How has track and field impacted your life?

Track has always been a big part of my life. but as I continued to do it throughout the years, I fell more and more in love with the sport.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

The most difficult obstacle was my recovery from tearing my hamstring and trying to get back to where I was before

How do you prepare for competitions?

I don't really have like a set routine, but I do like doing someone fun with teammates the day before, and then I always make sure I get a good night's sleep going into the competition.

What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

He has been one of my top supporters since I was born. He has always pushed me to be the best I can be and has always had my back no matter what. I hope my college coach is just like him.


Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

I also play soccer. and I like shopping, hanging out with friends, and being outside

What are your college plans?

I'm going to UMass Dartmouth to study marine biology and run track.

What are your long-term goals?

I want to do rescue and rehab with marine animals.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

All of my family and friends who have always been there for me.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Stick with it. I know you might hate it at the moment, but the outcome is always worth it.
